Job Summary:

Vancouver Specialty & Rehabilitation Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Vancouver, WA. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and chronic diseases

• Conduct therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions as directed by the physical therapist

• Monitor patient progress, report changes or concerns to the physical therapist, and make Adjustments to treatment plans as needed

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment, including progress notes and discharge summaries

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and comprehensive care

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy assistance or related field preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Washington

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a physical therapy setting or related field

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
