Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team! As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be working closely with Physical Therapists as well as other Assistants to provide therapy and support for our patients. The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of physical therapy guidelines and recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Treating children with a wide range of abilities (birth to 21 years of age)
- Providing services in a variety of settings, including clinic, daycare, home, schools, and community
- Read, understand, and follow all plans of care and therapy laid out for patients under your care
- Assist patients with using adaptive equipment, therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility activities
- Assist Physical Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed
- Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials used on a daily basis
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes
- Managing your patient caseload and schedule
The ideal candidate will display the following qualifications:
- Current state licensing for physical therapy assistance required
- Previous experience working in a physical therapy setting desired
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to make decisions in a high-stress environment

Experience:
- Pediatric Therapy: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical records software, EMR (Bonus)
