Physical Therapist Assistant (Full Time /Part Time)

Primary Care Sports Medicine is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare setting and wants to be part of a practice focused on orthopedic care, sports medicine, and excellent patient outcomes.

PCSM is a physician-owned practice that is physical therapy-focused and led, giving therapists the opportunity to work as professionals within a collaborative outpatient healthcare setting. Our practice treats patients across the lifespan, from pediatric and adolescent athletes to active adults, weekend warriors, and older adults who want to stay mobile and independent. We are proud to provide orthopedic and sports medicine care in a setting that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and strong relationships with patients and teammates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Provide hands-on care and therapeutic exercise instruction for patients with orthopedic and sports medicine conditions
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising therapist
  • Document clearly, timely, and efficiently in the EMR
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and care team to support continuity of care
  • Help create an encouraging, professional, and patient-centered experience throughout the therapy process

Qualifications

  • Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, and working with patients across the lifespan
  • Outpatient experience is a plus, but strong new graduates will also be considered

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $39.00 - $44.00 per hour
