Livevital Physical Therapy and Performance is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-centered Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic practice located within a fully equipped fitness and training facility. This unique setting allows patients to progress seamlessly from rehabilitation to fitness and performance, while providing clinicians with access to a wide range of exercise and training equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, functional training, and rehabilitation programs.
• Assist patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide patient education on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and healthy movement strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic, state, and federal requirements.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and positive treatment environment.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, fitness professionals, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

QualificationsRequired:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a busy environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or fitness-based rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise progression and functional movement training.
• Interest in fitness, wellness, and active lifestyles.
