Livevital Physical Therapy and Performance is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-centered Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic practice located within a fully equipped fitness and training facility. This unique setting allows patients to progress seamlessly from rehabilitation to fitness and performance, while providing clinicians with access to a wide range of exercise and training equipment.
We are looking for a PTA who is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals, enjoys working in an active environment, and values teamwork and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, functional training, and rehabilitation programs.
- Assist patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide patient education on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and healthy movement strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic, state, and federal requirements.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive treatment environment.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, fitness professionals, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
QualificationsRequired:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a busy environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or fitness-based rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise progression and functional movement training.
- Interest in fitness, wellness, and active lifestyles.
