Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Travel Pay! Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by implementing prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual needs.
- Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Perform specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain.
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, postural correction, and discharge planning to promote ongoing recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care settings to ensure seamless patient care.
- Travel between various healthcare facilities and home health visits while maintaining excellent service standards.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Proven experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques.
- Skilled in providing care for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing effective care plans.
- Competence in specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics treatments.
