Your Impact & Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Excellence: Provide high-quality patient treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist, strictly following physician-approved care plans.

  • Documentation Mastery: Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in full compliance with California PT Board requirements.

  • Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences to coordinate holistic resident recovery.

  • Patient Advocacy: Maintain open and effective communication with the healthcare team regarding patient progress, challenges, and goals.

  • Education & Support: Assist in training Restorative Aides and provide vital caregiver training and maintenance program instruction to families for safe discharge.

  • Facility Pride: Ensure the therapy department remains clean and organized, and that all equipment is in safe, professional working order.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.

  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical reasoning and a heart for geriatric and subacute care.
