Body Therapy & Wellness is a Personal injury Clinic with is focused treating patients who have been injured in an accident and providing therapy for their quick recovery. We have 2 locations: Bradenton and Sarasota, FL.

We are a comprehensive professional group which includes Board certified doctor of Osteopathy, neuro and ortho surgeons, physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, Chiropractor Assistant ,medical assistants. We are looking for a licensed PTA ( physical therapy assistant) that can work full or part time under the supervision of our DPT.

Our goal is to To provide Rehabilitation services to the local community with convenient hours . We strive to maximize the patient's recovery to meet their clinical goal.

Our work environment includes:

• Modern office setting
• 3 totally equipped physical therapy rooms, 2 traction beds and multiple exercise equipment
• Work load varies but there is always multiple providers ( 5-12 pt load)

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient therapy accordance with the physician's referral and the patient's individualized physical therapy plan of care
-Following the PT or DO treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology-
- Strong problem-solving abilities to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Empathy and compassion for patients undergoing physical therapy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
