Position Summary

We are currently seeking a FullTime Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized therapy services that promote functional improvement and enhance quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in resident care plans
  • Assist in implementing individualized rehabilitation programs focused on mobility, strength, balance, and ADLs
  • Monitor resident response to treatment and document progress accurately and timely
  • Communicate effectively with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate residents and families on exercises, safety awareness, and mobility strategies
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Pennsylvania PTA license in good standing
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or longterm care setting preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, teamoriented approach to resident care
