Independence Rehab is proud to partner with Cascades Healthcare in delivering exceptional therapy services in the Magic Valley. We just opened one PTA position. In this role, you will float between potentially Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, Desert View Care Center in Buhl, and/or Lincoln Care Center in Shoshone.

What You'll Do

• Treat patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist

• Occasionally treat clinically complex patients with PT support

• Perform and assist with all types of transfers

• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and balance interventions

• Carry out established treatment plans and document patient progress

• Provide patient and family education related to mobility and safety

• Collaborate closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Current Idaho PTA license in good standing

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program

• Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population

Preferred:

• At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said-if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
