Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health

InHome Healthcare Services is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA's) to be part of our Home Health Team. InHome HCS is rapidly expanding, and we are hiring Home Health Physical Therapist Assistants effective immediately. We work with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require care in their homes. Most of our patients are elderly, so we hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field. You will be responsible for managing a case load, so time management skills are essential. Coverage Area: Monterey Peninsula , Salinas

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart your observations
• Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and ADLs.
• Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehab/functional status
• Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
• Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests
• Coordinate with Physical Therapists, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physicians and anyone else involved in the patient's care plan
• Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures

Requirements

• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Ability to travel to multiple patients per day
• Candidates must be licensed PTA in the state of California
• Experience in in-home and/or Hospice preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license
• Current CPR
• Current TB

Required experience:

• Physical Therapy Assistant: 1 year

License/Certification:

• Physical Therapy Assistant License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
