Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Home Health (PRN)

Spirit Homecare & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy services across West Chester Township, Cincinnati, and surrounding areas.

This is a PRN, per-visit position offering flexibility and field-based work, ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their current schedule or build a consistent caseload.

Compensation

• $45.00 per visit
• Mileage reimbursement provided

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Support improvement in strength, balance, and functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using Axxess EMR
• Communicate patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license (Required)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Experience in home health, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
• Ability to work independently in a field-based setting

Schedule

• Flexible PRN schedule
• Choose your own hours and schedule based on your availability

Work Environment

• Services provided in patient homes
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting
