Compensation: PRN Rate: Starting at $40.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work closely with our supervising Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aimed at restoring mobility, building strength, and enhancing our residents' overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Execution: Safely and effectively implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Therapeutic Intervention: Guide residents through targeted therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training.
• Progress Monitoring: Closely monitor, track, and document resident progress during each therapy session to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Patient & Family Education: Educate residents and their families on at-home exercises, safety protocols, and continued care routines.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner actively with the physical therapy team and nursing staff to provide coordinated, holistic care.
• Environment Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy department.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted PTA license in the state of Illinois.

Job Type: Full-time
