PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA)- Western Suburbs

Olympia Chiropractic and Physical Therapy is a family-based practice with an emphasis on sports medicine. Originally opened in 1997, we now have 4 locations throughout the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Our mission is to treat as many people as possible without the use of unnecessary drugs or surgery. Our multi-disciplinary approach addresses the structural as well as the functional issues of our patients. We combine chiropractic treatment with physical therapy, massage therapy and athletic training.

This post is for a part-time licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Candidate must have an active Illinois license (or in the process of applying for their license). The ideal PTA for this position is an outgoing, passionate person that works well within a team.

Schedule: Average 25 hours/week with a mix of morning, afternoon/evenings shift and Saturday morning rotation

Responsibilities Include:

• Progressing patient’s plan of treatment that has been established by the physical therapist
• Frequent communication with supervising PT regarding appropriate treatment plan, follow-up appointments and potential discharge for patients
• Document all treatment in patient charts and complete all written communication in a timely manner: progress notes, daily S.O.A.P notes and discharge summaries

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
