Lead Physical Therapist / Clinic Director New Location | Lewes, Delaware | PT-Owned Practice | Leadership Opportunity

Advanced Rehabilitation is expanding in Delaware — and we’re looking for a Lead Physical Therapist to help build and lead our physical therapy program.

Relocation housing assistance may be provided for up to two years for the right candidate relocating to the Lewes area.

Our Lewes clinic opened in June 2025 with a focus on specialized hand therapy services and has already grown to four Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) due to strong support from patients, physicians, and the community.

With that momentum, we are now expanding physical therapy services and seeking a motivated physical therapist to help lead and grow the orthopedic program.

While our Certified Hand Therapists focus exclusively on hand, wrist, and elbow conditions, the Lead Physical Therapist will manage a broad orthopedic caseload including shoulder, spine, hip, knee, and sports-related injuries.

This creates an excellent opportunity for a PT to develop a strong orthopedic practice while collaborating with an experienced hand therapy team.

Due to our continued growth, we are also planning our second location in Southern Delaware, creating significant opportunities for professional advancement and financial growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the physical therapy program at a thriving multidisciplinary clinic
• Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions including shoulder, spine, hip, knee, and post-surgical cases
• Collaborate closely with our Certified Hand Therapists, who focus exclusively on hand, wrist, and elbow conditions
• Maintain high standards of clinical care and patient outcomes
• Support efficient scheduling and a positive team environment
• Mentor staff and contribute to the growth of the practice

What You Bring

• DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Delaware Physical Therapy License (or ability to obtain)
• Outpatient orthopedic or sports therapy experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Interest in leadership or clinic development
• A desire to work in a supportive, clinician-driven environment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
