Physical Therapist (DPT)

Cedar Home Health is seeking Full- time and Part-time positions for Physical therapists.

Excellent starting pay rate from $48 and up.

Salary is negotiable based on your experiences

Physical Therapist Position Overview:

• The Cedars has an immediate opening for a Home Health Physical Therapist. This position reports directly to the Theray team coordinator and Clinical Director.

Physical Therapist candidate Required Skills and Qualifications :

• A PHD or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Clinical skills from an Inpatient Hospital, SNF, or Outpatient setting, 6 months preferred
• Home Health experience is a plus
• Current unrestricted Physical Therapy licensure in the state of RI
• Current CPR certification
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Reliable transportation, active auto insurance, and a clean driving record are required.
• Weekend availability a plus

As a Physical Therapist, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess home health patients to identify the physical needs.
• Participate in the implementation and development of the plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care and proper discharge planning.
• Provide clinical directions to the PTA when available and to ensure quality and continuity of service provided.
• Assure deliverance of consistent quality patient care.
• Be mindful of Insurance requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment and competency.
• Promote the agency's mission and values.
• Therapy skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $48.00 per hour
