Position Summary

The Part-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist will provide clinic-based treatment services to children from birth to age 5. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in pediatric development, passionate about early intervention, and committed to partnering with families to support each child’s growth and success.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct pediatric physical therapy evaluations for children birth through age 5
  • Provide individualized, evidence-based treatment services in a clinic setting
  • Develop functional, family-centered treatment plans based on each child’s unique developmental needs
  • Address areas such as gross motor development, balance, coordination, strength, mobility, posture, and functional movement
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
  • Complete documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, professionalism, and communication
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and high-quality clinic culture

Qualifications

  • Current California Physical Therapist license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Early intervention experience and experience working with children birth to age 5 strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with families and colleagues
  • Professional, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
