Physical Therapist-Outpatient Orthopedics

Matrix Physical Therapy & Wellness is currently seeking a highly qualified physical therapist to join our team.

We are a physical therapist owned outpatient orthopedic clinic staffed with highly trained Doctors of Physical Therapy who are all dedicated to treating patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries. The clinic is located in a newly modeled, 4100 Sq. Ft facility in the heart of Santa Monica and is modern, state of the art, and spacious; giving patients a peaceful environment to heal in the hands of caring and friendly staff.

We are looking for a physical therapist who excels in hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and demonstrates a strong team player mentality. We pride ourselves in treating the whole patient including prevention and wellness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate prioritizing patient care and be friendly, empathetic, and have strong interpersonal skills. You will also be tasked with representing our clinic positively in the community and be able to effectively communicate with referring physicians, clinic staff, other health care providers, and family members about patient care and treatments. We offer 45 minute appointment times for our patients and each PT has their own dedicated aide. A full time PT in our clinic will see a max of 51 patients per week vs. 80 patients per week at clinics with a 30 min/patient model. We feel that our model helps minimize paperwork, allows you to spend more one on one time with your patient, and helps prevent burn out.

Our Clinic is affiliated with Loyola Marymount University Men’s and Women’s Basketball Team. One of the owners is the official Men’s Basketball Physical Therapist and we have other PT’s that work with the teams directly throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to work with Division 1 basketball players if you are interested.

In addition to physical therapy services, Matrix PT & Wellness also offers Pilates, Personal Training, Massage Therapy, and exercise/balance classes by a trainer. The addition of these key resources assist our patients in their pursuits of their Physical Therapy and Wellness goals. Our highly qualified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Massage Therapist work closely with our Physical Therapists to create tailored session plans that best meet the needs of our patients.
