PHYSICAL THERAPIST-PART TIME/PER DIEM
Title: Physical Therapist - Part Time / Per Diem
Hourly Pay Range: $37-$63 per hour.

Blaire House of Worcester is seeking an energetic Physical Therapist to uphold our high standards for senior care!
Job Summary:
- Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
- Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
- Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of staff (RCNA, PTA, PTLA, etc,).
- The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
- Ensures that patient changes are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy and currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Massachusetts. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to follow written and oral directions.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one-year clinical experience serving the same age/population mix as served by this facility. Demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization, with knowledge of application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
