New England Pediatric Care (NEPC) is hiring for a rarely available Physical Therapist position! NEPC is an 82-bed, pediatric long-term care facility that serves residents with complex medical needs. NEPC provides 24-hour skilled nursing care, as well as Monday - Friday education for K-12, young adult programming, and rehabilitation services.
The Physical Therapist's primary responsibilities include evaluating residents and developing and implementing personalized care plans focusing on the overall improvement of their quality of life and preventing decline in function. The PT also participates in IEP goal development and implementation and provides consultation and direct treatment.
This unique opportunity allows the PT to be actively involved in our in-house Wheelchair, Orthopedic, Neurology, Physiatry/Rehab, and Orthotics clinics. The Physical Therapist works closely with other licensed and unlicensed personnel in a friendly atmosphere to ensure the best quality of life for all our residents and day students.
This position is perfect for a new graduate or someone with experience looking for a change! There are no productivity standards and no weekend rotations.
