We are seeking a qualified School Physical Therapist who will serve as a valuable partner to our students, helping them navigate their daily tasks and achieve their personal best in terms of physical functionality. The School Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in maximizing the quality of life and movement potential of our students, employing a range of techniques in promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.

Job Type: Per Diem (Variable)
Pay Range: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
Location: Los Angeles CA, school onsite

Responsibilities:

Engage with students to understand their physical conditions, symptoms, and any challenges they may be facing.
Diagnosing Movement Dysfunction: Utilize expertise to diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
Treatment Planning: Design and implement effective treatment plans aimed at improving students' physical functionality and overall well-being.
Educate students on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on incorporating these techniques into their daily routines.
Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and interventions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of physical therapy.
