Position Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient acute care/rehabilitation setting. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, focusing on restoring mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Acute care experience is required. Rehabilitation hospital experience is preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience

• Inpatient acute care experience required

• Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred

• Strong lifting and patient transfer skillset

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and strength

• Perform safe patient lifting and transfers

• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercises

• Document patient progress in accordance with facility standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
