Reporting to the Supervisor of the Pediatric Service Line or designee, the Scoliosis Physical Therapist will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional care to pediatric and adolescent patients with scoliosis. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced clinicians and new graduates who are passionate about orthopedic and pediatric rehabilitation and interested in developing specialized expertise in scoliosis-specific rehabilitation. No prior scoliosis experience or scoliosis-specific certification is required. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to support the development of expertise in scoliosis-specific rehabilitation.
The Scoliosis Physical Therapist is responsible for patient evaluations, treatment planning, intervention, and ongoing assessment, providing comprehensive care appropriate to the age and needs of the patients served in accordance with the departmental philosophy and objectives.
While the position has a primary focus on scoliosis care, therapists will also treat orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric patients based on departmental needs and the therapist’s experience. Approximately 50% of the caseload may include non-scoliosis patients.
