We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist , you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing
- Teach patients adaptive techniques and strategies to enhance their daily functioning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of trigger point therapy, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with acute care and medical terminology
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
