Physical Therapy Aide

Do you want to gain experience in Physical Therapy? Growing, vibrant, Orange County, Pilates-based Physical Therapy Practice, multiple locations close to ocean, seeks Physical Therapy Aides to join our team of quality care givers. Work directly with Physical Therapists to coordinate patient care including observing, monitoring, documenting treatments and exercise regimens. Work directly with patients. Some front office work, light typing, transcribing, filing, phones. Entry level OK. Training provided. Interest in Pilates a plus. Friendly, outgoing, thorough, detail-oriented, team-oriented, willing to learn. Multitasking ability and excellent people and phone personality. Knowledge of basic computer programs (Word/Excel), email and internet literate. Written and spoken English must be good.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred, particularly in acute care or outpatient environments.
• Familiarity with post-acute care, sub-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and inpatient services is advantageous.
• Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff.
