Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Physical Therapy Aide to support our licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in delivering high-quality care. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment and assisting with non-clinical tasks related to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists by preparing treatment areas and equipment.
• Support patients during therapeutic exercises and mobility training under supervision.
• Set up and clean exercise and therapy equipment as directed.
• Observe and report patient reactions to therapy to the supervising therapist.
• Reinforce instructions provided by the therapist to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to infection control procedures throughout the clinic.
• Perform routine clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, or maintaining records as needed.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all patients and staff.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of physical therapy equipment and exercises is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
• Physically able to lift equipment and assist patients with mobility.
