Physical Therapy Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the support they need during their rehabilitation process in an outpatient setting. This position will be Part-Time. Approximately 20-25 hours a week with rotating Saturday morning hours 1-2 times a month in the non summer months.

Duties

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises as directed.
• Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques under the supervision of a therapist.
• Support the team in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow using EMR program.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

• Experience in outpatient settings is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
• A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care.
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to speak/understand Spanish is a PLUS

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
