Physical Therapy Aide - Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Physical Therapy Aide to support our clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient service skills, and a solid understanding of physiology. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable post-acute care experience while contributing to high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Duties

  • Assist physical therapists with patient intake, room setup, and treatment preparation to keep the clinic running smoothly
  • Help guide patients through exercises, mobility activities, and use of equipment under staff supervision
  • Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked according to clinic standards
  • Observe patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the therapy team
  • Create a friendly, welcoming experience by supporting communication between patients and staff
  • Support front office tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing supplies, and maintaining basic records
  • Follow clinic policies, safety guidelines, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) at all times

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide range of patients, including older adults and those recovering from injury or surgery
  • Willingness to learn clinical processes, including patient intake and rehabilitation workflows
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
