Physical Therapy Assistant

This position will work directly with our communities located in and around Waterville, Ohio on a PRN, as needed basis.

Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate team at Certus Healthcare Management communities. In this role, you will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents, enhancing their recovery and overall well-being.

This is a unique opportunity for someone seeking an extremely flexible schedule that allows you to pick up clients when it fits best for you. This opportunity not only allows you to pick days you see clients but also the times of treatment. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking for additional clients to work with.

This position will work directly will our communities in the Waterville, Ohio and surrounding area.

This position comes with a starting pay rate of $30 an hour

This is a PRN, as needed position based on the caseload of the communities. Our case load is growing and additional team members are needed!

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
  • Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as exercises and modalities.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and rehabilitation practices.
  • Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
