The Opportunity:

- Rate: $32.00–$42.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Treatment Implementation: Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions and treatments under the general supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Functional Training: Assist residents with gait training, therapeutic exercises, and balance activities to improve mobility and reduce fall risks.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and record resident responses to treatment, providing vital feedback to the PT to ensure care plans stay on track.
- Resident Safety: Ensure the proper use of assistive devices and educate residents on safe body mechanics and transfer techniques.
- Documentation: Complete daily treatment notes and progress reports in accordance with Florida state regulations and facility guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the nursing staff and the broader rehab team to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for resident recovery.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must possess a current, valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
- Clinical Passion: A desire to help residents move toward a more independent future through evidence-based care.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
