Physical Therapy Assistant - Casual

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Physical Therapy Assistants perform treatment per the therapist plan of care, assesses patient’s response to treatment, and assists with discharge planning. They communicate with the lead therapist regarding progress and proposed changes to the plan of care. They utilize exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education to improve the patient’s overall mobility, pain, and functional ability. In addition they provide education related to the treatment program, disease process, and prevention of further injuries to the patient, family/caregiver, and other members of the healthcare team.

Work Schedule:

Casual/On-call – Varies based on department needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an APTA accredited school offering a Physical Therapist Assistant two year degree.
  • Possess a valid WI licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year directly related experience is preferred but willing to consider new graduates.
  • Experience in EPIC computer system

    Pay Range Statement
    Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (e.g., shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.).
