Duties

- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, mobility techniques, and discharge planning strategies.
- Conduct assessments related to anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate delivery of care.
- Participate in inpatient, outpatient, home health visits, and skilled nursing facility settings to deliver consistent therapy services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning and coordinate care for patients across various healthcare environments.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient care.
- Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies.
- Experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and managing care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages and backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
