Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant--PRN to join our team at AccelAbility Balance and Therapy. In this role you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care. You will play a vital role in helping patients recover from movement dysfunctions and improve their overall physical function.

Duties

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care by administering therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients from therapy to home or other settings.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for continued improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
