Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Looking for a PER DIEM Physical Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Queens, NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefit package.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Follow all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
- Adhere to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
- Provide documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
- Regularly discuss with supervising Physical Therapist patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
- Ensure safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary.
Requirements include:
- Valid NY professional license
- Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
- New graduates are welcome
