• Compensation: Up to $40hr (Dependent on Experience)

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

• Treatment Implementation: Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments and interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Patient Progress: Monitor resident responses to therapy, adjusting techniques as needed and reporting clinical changes to the supervising PT.
• Safety & Education: Instruct residents and caregivers in the use of assistive devices, home exercise programs, and safe mobility techniques.
• Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with the nursing and rehab teams to ensure a consistent and supportive recovery environment for every resident.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely daily treatment notes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must possess a current, valid Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Clinical Skills: Strong understanding of geriatric rehab and the ability to adapt treatments to meet individual resident needs.
• Adaptability: A proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and communicates effectively with the rehab team.
