Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Home Care (Medicare Part B)

Location: Boro Park & Midwood, Brooklyn, NY

Compensation: Up to $50 per visit (Independent Contractor / 1099)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality home care services to patients under Medicare Part B in the Boro Park and Midwood areas of Brooklyn. This is an independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling and competitive per-visit compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)

• Accurately document all patient visits, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (we use HelloNote)

• Communicate consistently and directly with the supervising PT regarding patient status, progress, and any concerns

• Follow established care plans and adjust interventions as directed by the PT

• Maintain compliance with Medicare Part B regulations and documentation standards

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation

Qualifications:

• Current New York State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant

• Experience in home care and/or Medicare Part B preferred

• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

• Comfortable using EMR systems for documentation

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

• Reliable transportation for travel within Boro Park and Midwood
