Duties

• Assist patients with exercises and mobility activities under supervision, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, including sanitizing equipment and area after use.
• Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, noting observations for therapist review.
• Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records accurately.
• Educate patients on post-treatment exercises and home care routines to promote continued recovery.
• Follow all safety protocols and medical guidelines related to physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, or clinic environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology enhances your ability to support clinical staff effectively.
• Experience working in post-acute care settings such as sub-acute or geriatrics is advantageous.
• Background in orthopedics or hospital medicine can provide valuable context for patient needs.
• Sub-acute care experience helps develop skills in managing complex cases involving mobility challenges.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude are essential for fostering positive patient interactions.
