Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Support patient care by monitoring progress, providing encouragement, and ensuring safety during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and discharge plans to promote ongoing recovery at home or in other settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment activities, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in discharge planning efforts by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Stay current with physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and physiotherapy best practices to deliver effective treatment.

Skills

• Proficiency in trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques for pain relief.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
• Experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics or home health environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care.
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes and outpatient therapy protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $110.00 - $160.00 per hour
