Physical Therapy Tech

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. You will assist in providing physical and rehabilitative programs to improve patient's quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting visitors and patients to the clinic
• Supervise and teach patient exercise programs
• Use our clinic's EMR (patient software) to track patient progress and report their status to therapists
• Provide modalities (electrical stimulation, diathermy, laser, ultrasound, heat, ice)
• Assist in clinic needs including laundry, re-setting of patient rooms, & cleaning
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask effectively; critical time management skills necessary
• Initiative, energy and ability to work well with a team
• Demonstrated ability to interact with healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance companies alike
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer skills required
• Ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with patients
• Previous experience in physical therapy, or other related field is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
