Physical Therapy Technician Job Description

Established and successful orthopedic practice is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a physical therapy technician. Cornerstone Orthopedic Institute was founded by Dr. Raul Marquez and has proudly served the South Texas Region for over 25 years. The COI is currently the premier location in Rio Grande Valley to receive orthopedic services. In addition to local residents, the practice also serves patients from all over the western hemisphere, who travel in order to seek the expert advice of our elite providers and prestigious and innovative patient quality care.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assisting patients with light exercises during physical therapy sessions.
• Helping patients to move from station to station.
• Cleaning and preparing treatment areas and equipment before and after each session.
• Changing and washing patients' linens and pillows.
• Performing clerical tasks occasionally, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Ordering and arranging supplies.

Physical Therapy Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect patients' privacy.
• Compassion and empathy when helping patients.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be bilingual
