Post-Acute Care Physician – Washington County, TN and Surrounding Areas

We’re seeking a compassionate, motivated physician to join our post-acute care team serving communities across Washington County and surrounding areas in East Tennessee. This position offers an ideal balance of flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient impact—without the grind of nights, weekends, or holiday shifts.

You’ll work within assisted living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation facilities, providing direct care and leadership that enhances the quality of life for residents while supporting on-site nurse practitioners and clinical staff.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as Medical Director for designated facilities, setting clinical standards and mentoring care teams.
• Provide ongoing primary and acute medical care for residents in post-acute and long-term settings.
• Ensure that treatment aligns with evidence-based practices and supports optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners, offering clinical guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Maintain oversight of comprehensive primary care delivery and continuity across facilities.

What You’ll Bring

• Board-certified or board-eligible physician (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Comfort working independently while coordinating within an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Perks

• Annual earnings between $200,000 and $450,000+, depending on volume and productivity.
