Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive medical services for members of family, regardless of age or sex, on continuing basis. Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history. Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patients’ condition.
- Completes accurate progress notes on patients' charts indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed; maintains other records as required in a timely manner as set forth within the policies and procedures of the Nhan Hoa Clinic.
- Reviews all labs and radiology results; analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition of patient. Provides health education to patients and families, and gives patient self-care plan.
- Administers or prescribes treatments and medications. Provides cross training to maintain clinical coverage during turnover seasons. Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases.
- Refers patients to medical specialist for consultant services when necessary for patients’ well-being. Works continually to assure deliverance of quality clinical care in safe, efficient, competent, and effective manner. Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures.
- Attend and participate in patient care reports, patient care conferences/meetings, team conferences/meetings/huddles, professional continuing medical education, and other appropriate professional activities only to the extent that such attendance and participation is relative to his/her assigned cases and/or performance of services as determined by the supervisor. Participates in peer review, quality assurance, quality improvement, provider meetings and/or other clinical meetings
- Answers patient’s message requesting clinical advice during office hours and documents the time and date and the content of the advice on the same day following telephone advice protocol during office hours and the next day for after-hours.
- Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. Manages the care of patients in collaboration with other health professionals and members of the health care team in order to make decisions about treatment and attain health goals.
- Complies with all State and Federal Law governing Physicians. Recommends changes in all clinical areas, and/or in general areas to improve the patient flow, medical records, billing practices, and appointment practices. Assists management in establishing medical policies, quality improvement procedures, and evaluating current practices, policies and procedures. Assists management in designing, implementing and evaluating educational programs for the Clinic’s patients and clinical staff.
- Participates in community health events, such as school screenings, health fairs, community events, and etc.
- Performs other duties pertaining to the position of a Physician.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
