Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MD or DO to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care in the field of Functional/Alternative medicine fin our Beautiful Wellness Spa.

This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patient health conditions while utilizing advanced Functional/Alternative medical technologies and adhering to the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

The MD or DO will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care, participate in clinical research, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient needs, and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR systems for documentation, order entry, and patient data management.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pulmonology, psychiatry, oncology, orthopedics, infectious disease care, and more.
• Provide patient education on health coaching, disease management (e.g., diabetes care), preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with NCQA standards.
• Requirements
• Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialties such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or other specialized fields listed in the preferred skills.
• Proven experience with EHR systems. Familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical protocols across multiple disciplines including critical care experience or hospital experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient service delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Experience with telehealth is a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in clinical trials or research initiatives.
• Must pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
