Job Title: Physician Assistant

Department: Clinical Services Location: SPARRC Clinics (Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad & Mumbai)

Role Summary

The Physician Assistant will support doctors and physiotherapists in delivering smooth, organised, and high-quality outpatient care. This role focuses on patient coordination, accurate documentation, and ensuring that every patient visit is properly recorded and followed up, in line with SPARRC’s clinical processes.

This is a patient-facing, process-oriented role that requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and comfort working in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, update, check, and maintain patient case sheets, including medical history, consultation notes, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up details.
  • Assist doctors and physiotherapists during patient consultations by ensuring all information is accurately recorded and patient flow remains smooth.
  • Support doctors during the prescription process by documenting instructions correctly and helping explain medication and next steps to patients under supervision.
  • Ensure all patient records (physical and digital) are complete, accurate, and updated on time, as per SPARRC guidelines.
  • Track patient follow-ups and update case sheets with progress notes, changes in treatment plans, or medication updates.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and follow ethical and documentation standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant, Allied Health Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred, especially in outpatient care, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or musculoskeletal clinics.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Basic understanding of medications, prescriptions, and treatment documentation (training will be provided).
  • High attention to detail and comfort following structured processes and checklists.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and patients.
  • Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently in a busy clinic setting.

Reporting To: Doctor / Centre Head

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
