Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physician Assistant to join our team at Best Life Bariatrics and Medical Weight Loss. Ours is a program that brings years of experience and personalized care to optimize patients’ long-term outcome and success. We are not just about doing bariatric surgery. We want to help patients reach their life goals around weight and beyond. Our focus is ensuring patients have all of the education and support before, during and after surgery to maximize weight loss and avoid regaining weight down the road. We also understand that not everyone struggling with weight is open to considering or ready for surgery, for these patients we offer robust medical weight management and dietary counseling with 3 dietitians on staff.
Like weight loss medications, bariatric surgery has come a long way over the last few decades. It is now exceedingly safe and highly effective. It does not only offer the most weight loss versus diet, exercise and medications, what’s more, it can reverse many of the medical conditions associated with excess weight, lower cancer risk and extend life expectancy. We are seeking not just a member of our team, but a part of our work family who is passionate about carrying this mission forward!
Role Description: This can be full-time or part-time in our North Canton location with flexibility for days and hours. Some time as an operating room assistant is also an option.
Weight is a sensitive topic and so we are seeking someone with empathy, energy and as a private practice, excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. These are skills we cannot train, everything else can be learned and we are happy to take the time to ensure our new team member feels comfortable in this specialized area of medicine.
We are also planning to grow with our new team member into hormonal therapy and aesthetics, offering our patients more ways and help to reach their goals.

Experience - is preferred but again, not required as we expect to train our new team member for this specialty and our unique practice
