Family First Primary Physicians, in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest and most integrated health system, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our growing primary care team in Oakhurst, New Jersey.

Our Oakhurst location offers a collaborative primary care environment with convenient access to the Jersey Shore, New York City, and Philadelphia. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a supportive culture that values teamwork and work–life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Perform physical examinations and review medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies and imaging
• Develop and manage treatment plans focused on preventive care and chronic disease management
• Educate and counsel patients on wellness, health maintenance, and therapeutic regimens
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing professional development
• Opportunity for inpatient care at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls, a local acute rehabilitation hospital

Candidate Qualifications

• Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in New Jersey
• National certification required
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach to care
• Interest in comprehensive primary care across the lifespan
• New graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
