Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluation by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Administer injections, medications, and treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy and other outpatient procedures
  • Manage acute pain and provide urgent care for minor injuries or illnesses within scope of practice
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Document patient encounters accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks
  • Participate in clinical research projects, data collection efforts, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
  • Experience with hospital medicine settings including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Level I & II trauma centers, NICU (Neonatal ICU), PICU (Pediatric ICU), and inpatient care environments
  • Skilled in procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, airway management, and aseptic techniques
  • Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for billing and documentation purposes
  • Ability to perform triage assessments in emergency room or urgent care settings efficiently and effectively
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations for patient privacy, and radiation safety practices when applicable
  • Experience with telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations and health coaching sessions
  • Competence in managing complex cases involving infectious disease care, pain management strategies, hospice & palliative medicine principles, and post-acute care planning
