Physician Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and treatment needs.
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document findings accurately and efficiently.
  • Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments for therapeutic or aesthetic purposes, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
  • Manage acute pain cases, triage urgent needs, and coordinate care plans for patients in emergency room, ICU, or inpatient settings.
  • Conduct clinical procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, spinal taps, and ventilator management with precision and adherence to best practices.
  • Support clinical research initiatives by collecting data, managing medical records according to HIPAA standards, and participating in clinical trials or public health projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, hospice & palliative care, post-acute care transitions, and chronic disease management including geriatrics and pediatric populations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physician Assistant certification with current licensure in the state of practice.
  • Proven experience in hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU units, or emergency medicine environments.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding and CPT coding is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and diagnosis.
  • Experience performing clinical procedures including suturing, injection administration (including Botox), airway management, and ventilator support.
  • Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with infectious disease care, radiation therapy procedures, dialysis management or neonatal ventilator support is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics such as nutrition or addiction counseling; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $122,024.13 - $146,953.78 per year
