We are seeking a skilled, and highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Pain Management Clinic. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and a professional staff dedicated to teamwork and patient centered care. Responsibilities

Meet with new patients to orient them about services, to identify needs, and to suggest treatments.

See ambulatory patients in the pain management clinic for laboratory testing, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic pain.

Write prescriptions and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and equipment.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.

Schedule follow-up visits in office or unit as needed.

Perform physical examinations.

Prescribe medications and adjust dosages as necessary.

Provide patient education on pain management techniques and lifestyle modifications.

Act as a resource person for decisions, planning, and policies affecting the health of patients.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Collaborate with staff to identify patients' needs and to help develop plans to meet those needs.

Requirements

Unrestricted Physician Assistant license required

2+ years’ experience as a Physician Assistant

Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs

Confidence to work independently

Experience in pain management or similar field desired, but not required.

Excellent written, verbal, organizational and time management skills are a must.

Successful completion of an approved physician assistant program.
