Physician Assistant

Job Description: Physician Assistant – OB/GYNPosition Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing OB/GYN practice.
The PA will work collaboratively with board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists to provide comprehensive care
to women across the lifespan. Responsibilities include outpatient gynecologic care, prenatal support, in-office
procedures, and patient education. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, efficient, and comfortable working in a
fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities – Clinical Care

· Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.

· Provide gynecologic and obstetric care under physician supervision.

· Manage routine prenatal and postpartum visits.

· Evaluate and manage common gynecologic conditions.

· Perform office procedures including endometrial biopsy, IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, Pap smears, STI testing and treatment, and colposcopy assistance.

· Interpret laboratory and imaging results and develop treatment plans.

· Provide patient counseling on contraception, pregnancy, menopause, and preventive health.

Care Coordination

· Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care.

· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Administrative / Operational

· Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and practice standards.

· Participate in team meetings and care coordination activities.

Qualifications

· Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

· Board Certified or Board Eligible (PA-C).

· Active IL state PA license or ability to obtain.

· DEA registration or ability to obtain.

· 1–3 years of Women’s Health or OB/GYN experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered).

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Eligibility for a quarterly productivity bonus based on clinical performance metrics such as work RVU production,
patient visit volume, and quality metrics.

Work Schedule

Full-time position. Typical clinic hours Monday through Friday
