Vijapura Psychiatry is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant with CAQ in Psychiatry to join our physician-led outpatient practice in Jacksonville, Florida.

Founded in 1991, our practice provides evidence-based, integrative psychiatric care that combines expert medication management with psychotherapy principles and lifestyle medicine.

This role is ideal for a clinician who values high-quality psychiatry, meaningful patient relationships, and a collaborative practice environment.

Position Highlights

• Competitive compensation based on 75th percentile AAPA salary data
• W-2 or 1099 options available
• Hybrid telepsychiatry and in-person care
• 60-minute new evaluations and 15–30 minute follow-ups
• Collaborative physician-led practice environment
• Strong referral base and concierge administrative support

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations
• Provide medication management for common psychiatric conditions
• Integrate psychotherapy principles into visits
• Collaborate with therapists and other clinicians
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation

Qualifications

Required:

• Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• CAQ in Psychiatry
• Florida license or eligibility
• DEA license or eligibility

Preferred:

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry
• Interest in integrative or lifestyle-based mental health care
• Comfort with telepsychiatry
